Max for Live devices

Current GMaudio / Fixation Studios Max for Live devices do not use an activation or seat limit. Your purchase grants a personal license to download and use the device in Ableton Live for music production, including commercial releases.

• •You keep ownership of music you create with our products
• •Licenses are not transferable

Plugins (when available)

Future Fixation Studios plugins (non–Max for Live) will use license activations. Each plugin license includes 2 activations.

• •Commercial music production use is allowed
• •You retain ownership of music created with the software
• •Licenses are not transferable

Prohibited uses

• •Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the software except as allowed by law
• •Sharing, redistributing, or reselling the software or license keys
• •Exceeding the licensed activations for plugins
• •Removing or altering copyright or proprietary notices

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on purchases:

• •Request a refund within 14 days of purchase
• •Contact us with your order details and reason
• •Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days
• •After a refund, stop using and uninstall the product

Updates and support

Your license includes free updates within the same major version. Major version upgrades may require an additional purchase.

Technical support is provided on a best-effort basis via email and our support / contact channels during business hours (ACST / ACDT).

Website use

Content on this site (docs, blog posts, product pages, and branding) is for personal and informational use unless otherwise stated. Do not scrape, mirror, or reuse site content at scale without permission.

Limitation of liability

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Australia, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
